Govinda's and Karisma Kapoor starrer Coolie No.1 came to the theatres in 1995. The comedy film entertained and hit the audience. Now, the same film has been tried to be brought in by director David Dhawan in a new fashion and says that his target is not entirely correct but the entertainment dose for the audience is in the film.

What is the story of the film?

 This is the story of a boy named Raju, who goes to his mother at a railway station in his childhood and then his life starts passing through the railway station. Raju (Varun Dhawan) has now grown up to become a porter and has been given the No.1 badge for his loyalty and work. Raju goes together with his friend Deepak to ask for the girl's hand for the wedding, but being her porter makes the girl's father feel.

Geoffrey Rosario (Paresh Rawal), on the other hand, is looking for boys for his daughters Sara (Sara Ali Khan) and Anju (Shikha Talsania) who even buy Bhaji-Tarkari and sit on a jet plane. Geoffrey rejects the relationship between Pandit Jai Kishan (Javed Jaffrey), after which Jai Kishan takes the time to marry Geoffrey's daughter with an array.

 Varun Dhawan's fun-filled style will get you to see in this film. In Raju's role, he has been running a lot to hide his action, mimery and his reality. Her romance with Sara Ali Khan is also worth watching. Talking about Sara, she didn't bring anything new in the film. There is nothing significant in his performance. Stars like Paresh Rawal, Shikha Talsania, Javed Jaffrey, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav are in the supporting cast in the film and their work is quite fine.

 Director David Dhawan has tried to serve the old story in a new fashion. The film definitely gives you a chance to laugh for a while during the difficult times of the corona. The songs of the film are more than one party number, which is already getting the love of the masses and the fans. Overall, it's not bad if you get into your weekend plan.
